Here is some information about our third competition: Location SET High 3540 Aero Court San Diego, CA 92123 "The field competition area is in our “Den” (our multi-purpose room), Pits will be located in 2 classrooms, down the hall from the competition field. We will show footage of the matches on Promethean Boards in the classrooms, so no one will miss any of the fun!" Schedule 7:00 Check-in opens (Front lobby of the School) 7:30 Inspections begin (Visit one of the two tables near the stands) 8:30 Driver Meeting 9:00 Opening Ceremony (Welcome, Game Animation, and National Anthem) 9:30 QT matches followed by finals (We will run 6 matches per team + an alliance selection and quick final elimination 1:30 pm Dismissal - Clean up Pit Area Note that there is no official lunch break, but they say that there will be pizza for sale for $2 per slice.
Our competition yesterday went well! Both teams saw improvement in their overall scores, and Team 5135 won fifth place, and Team 11285 won sixth place of the 13 teams that were at the competition!
We're having an extra meeting tomorrow, 1/12/2019, from 9-11am, just before our second competition on Saturday.

This is a reminder that we will be having some optional meetings this week for the students to work on their robots. Our first competition today went very well! Team 5135 won third place and Team 11285 won 8th place out of 12 teams we saw at the competition. Our next competition is on Saturday, January 12, 2019. By the end of this meeting we need to be completely packed for the competition on Sunday. We're expecting some middle schoolers to join us from BMMS to practice driving on our field

Our campus is monitored by security 24/7. Guests will have to check in with our security guard at the gated entrance. They should have valid ID’s to present at that time. Food: SDJA is a kosher campus. Please respect this and bring only kosher food items onto campus. There will be no official lunch period since we are running an afternoon tournament as well and need to be efficient with our time in the morning.
